Gaggianocircular route

A few minutes by train and you are deep in the countryside between Gaggiano, Morimondo, Abbiategrasso and Robecco. This route begins at Gaggiano station, giving you time to see the 18th century Palazzo Venini Uboldi. The route passes the monumental Morimondo Abbey – well worth a visit. The Castello Visconteo in Abbiategrasso is an unmissable symbol of the town, and typical of the region’s castles. Palazzo Cittadini Stampa is a magnificent stately building on the outskirts of Abbiategrasso, located where the Naviglio Grande meets the Naviglio Bereguardo. The route takes in the waterways and colorful scenery around Robecco sul Naviglio. It also passes through Casterno, a small town on the edge of the Ticino Valley.
