Discover MottaVisconti lido

This fun gravel route takes you to the banks of the Ticino river and the Motta Visconti lido. It is a mixed route along the region’s charming waterways, ideal for both gravel and mountain bikes. Follow the Naviglio out of Milan to Gaggiano (where there is also a train station) and continue past the area’s small churches – such as Santa Maria del Dosso – and local farm houses. This cycle route is a great way to discover the region’s typical water meadows: ploughed and irrigated according to age-old custom. The route then heads into the wild natural landscape of the Parco del Ticino, where you can take a detour to explore the river. The Motta Visconti lido makes a great place to stop for refreshments.
