Crossing theTicino river 2
This route takes you from one side of the river to the other, exploring the rich biodiversity of the Ticino Park. The route starts at Magenta station before heading to Robecco sul Naviglio and along the waterway cycle path to Boffalora. This location is famous for the boats that historically carried passengers and post to Milan. The ride then takes you to Bernate, where San Giorgio church is worth a visit for its Celtic clock. A brief gravel section connects to the bridge, allowing you to avoid the tarmac road on the opposite bank. Once over the bridge, the real wild magic of the Ticino river begins, lasting all the way to Vigevano. This route intersects the ‘Enjoy a coffee at Robecco” itinerary.
